Beaches of Gairo Marina (nearest access)
Osini is an inland mountain village with no direct access to the sea. The nearest coastline is reached by descending towards Gairo Marina, about 40 minutes by car. Here small coves of pebbles and grey sand open up between dark rocks, lightly visited and often swept by the wind. They are not the most beautiful beaches in Ogliastra, but they offer near-total solitude. Those who visit Osini come for the Tacchi, the trails, and the old borough — not for the sea.
