The patron saint festival of Triei is one of the community's most unifying moments. The religious procession winds through the village streets decorated with flowers and banners, followed by music with the organetto and singing in the Sardinian language. The afternoon is dedicated to traditional games and tastings of local produce: oil, cheeses, bread and artisan sweets.

The village's olive presses open their doors and the fragrance of freshly extracted oil spreads throughout the historic centre. Weavers, woodcarvers and ceramics makers display their work.
