Sarrala
Sarrala is a long ribbon of white sand punctuated by dunes and maritime pines whose scent drifts through the salty air. The sea here is crystal-clear, with hues ranging from turquoise to emerald green depending on the light. It is a beach of great breadth — almost three kilometres of accessible coastline, with shallow waters in the first stretch and deeper water towards the north. On weekday mornings out of season you may encounter only the seagulls. In summer visitor numbers rise, but the length of the shoreline still guarantees space for everyone. One of Ogliastra's least celebrated gems.
